The 745 is a pressure vacuum breaker assembly. The model 745 was produced from 1980-1997. It is similar in design to the 765 and the repair parts are slightly different. The body of the assembly is made of a glass fiber reinforced nylon where the 765 is bronze. The check seat is cast in the body and is not replaceable. The check spring is not contained when the bonnet is removed.
