The 792 was a double check assembly. It was produced from approximately 1950 to 1975. It was a spring loaded bronze bodied poppet style check. Check covers were screwed into the body. Check seats were cast in the unit and were not replaceable. The check springs were not contained when the cover was removed. Most internal hardware parts are made of bronze.
