Backflow Repair Video Library
Introduction
This library is provided to assist repair technicians to understand how to repair backflow prevention assemblies. The first section, Letter A, consists of a video recording of a repair seminar conducted by BAVCO. This seminar is designed to teach basic principals of backlow prevention design and operation. The last clip in Section A shows the steps needed to complete a repair in the field. These first 7 video clips in section A are important to understanding proper repair techniques and procedures for all manufacturers and their many models.
Sections B through K consists of 38 video clips showing specific manufacturers models of backflow prevention assemblies. Each manufacturer is shown on the main drop down menu alphabetically. The specific models they have produced are displayed under their name with models going back to the 1950's. Each video clip will show how the specific model is taken apart and re-assembled. Model specific repair concerns will be demonstrated for each model, but general repair concerns that apply to many models are shown in the repair seminar in section A. Review of section A is highly recommended before reviewing sections B through K
