SHIPPING DELIVERY POLICY

This Shipping & Delivery Policy is part of our Terms and Conditions ("Terms") and should be therefore read alongside our main Terms: https://www.bavco.com/terms-and-conditions.php.

Please carefully review our Shipping & Delivery Policy when purchasing our products. This policy will apply to any order you place with us.

WHAT ARE MY SHIPPING DELIVERY OPTIONS?

In-Store Pickup

In-store pickup is available for all products stocked within BAVCO's local warehouse inventory. This includes the majority of our standard product offerings such as backflow preventers of all types and sizes including RP, DC, PVB, and SVB assemblies, repair kits and internal components, ball valves, gate valves, shutoff valves, test cocks, fittings, gauges, test equipment, strainers, filters, and related accessories.

Will call pickup is strongly recommended for oversized, heavy, or freight sensitive items that may exceed standard parcel carrier size or weight limitations. Examples include large diameter backflow assemblies 3 inches and larger, grooved or flanged assemblies, valve enclosures, pipe stands, backflow blankets, pipe, spools and oversized fittings.

Will Call pickup is available Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM. Customers may pick up their order only after receiving confirmation from BAVCO staff that their order is ready. Please be aware that holiday hours and periodic early closures may affect availability.

To ensure a smooth and efficient pickup experience, customers or their authorized representatives must present a valid government issued photo ID and order confirmation number upon arrival. Third party pickups must be pre-authorized by the customer and approved by BAVCO prior to arrival. Orders not picked up within 7 business days of pickup notification may be returned to stock, canceled, or subject to additional restocking or storage fees.

LTL Freight (Less Than Truckload)
Available for large or heavy orders that exceed standard parcel shipping limits. LTL shipments are coordinated through our freight partners and delivery times vary by destination and carrier availability. A freight quote will be provided at the time of order.

Local Will Call
Orders are available for will call pickup only upon receiving confirmation from a BAVCO staff member that your order has been pulled and is ready. Please do not arrive prior to receiving this notification.
Will call pickup is offered free of charge for most orders. Certain special, custom, or oversized orders may incur a handling fee, which will be communicated at the time of order confirmation.

All times and dates given for delivery of the products are given in good faith but are estimates only.

Shipping Coverage: BAVCO ships to all 50 U.S. states and select destinations within Canada via UPS. Shipments to U.S. territories, international destinations, or other regions outside our standard coverage area may be accommodated on a case-by-case basis with prior authorization from BAVCO staff.

Please Note: UPS suspends all delivery guarantees during peak holiday periods and in the event of unforeseen circumstances including but not limited to severe weather, natural disasters, and other conditions beyond UPS's control. BAVCO is not responsible for delays caused by UPS service disruptions and cannot guarantee delivery dates during these periods. Expedited shipping charges are non-refundable in the event of a UPS-declared service disruption.

DO YOU DELIVER INTERNATIONALLY?

We offer international shipping to the following countries:

Free shipping is not valid on international orders.

International Shipments: Customs, Duties & Tariffs — For shipments outside the United States, the recipient is solely responsible for all applicable customs fees, brokerage fees, import duties, taxes, tariffs, VAT, GST, and other charges imposed by the destination country or carrier. BAVCO has no control over these charges and cannot predict or estimate their cost. Delivery timeframes for international shipments are estimates only.

Please note, we may be subject to various rules and restrictions in relation to some international deliveries and you may be subject to additional taxes and duties over which we have no control. If such cases apply, you are responsible for complying with the laws applicable to the country where you live and will be responsible for any such additional costs or taxes.

ARE THERE OTHER SHIPPING RESTRICTIONS?

BAVCO processes and ships orders Monday through Friday during normal business hours, excluding weekends and recognized holidays. To qualify for same day shipment, orders must be fully submitted, payment verified, and confirmed by 3:00 PM local time based on the shipping warehouse location. Orders received after the applicable cutoff time, or orders requiring additional verification, review, or inventory coordination, will be processed on the next business day.

BAVCO ships to all 50 United States and select destinations within Australia, Canada and New Zealand. We do not ship to P.O. boxes under any circumstances, as our shipping carriers require a valid physical street address for delivery.

Not all shipping methods are available for every product or order configuration. Certain items, including large diameter backflow assemblies, oversized valves, backflow blankets, pipe stands, spools, enclosures, pipe, fabricated components, and products exceeding standard parcel carrier size or weight limitations, are restricted to LTL freight shipment and cannot be shipped through standard UPS or parcel delivery services.

Shipping charges are calculated based on the greater of actual weight or dimensional weight in accordance with carrier billing standards and freight policies. Estimated delivery dates and transit times are provided for convenience only and are not guaranteed unless expressly stated in writing by BAVCO. Expedited shipping charges are non-refundable once an order has been shipped, regardless of carrier performance or transit delays.

WHAT HAPPENS IF MY ORDER IS DELAYED?

BAVCO is committed to processing and shipping orders as efficiently as possible; however, delays may occasionally occur due to high order volume, backordered or out-of-stock items, manufacturer lead times, freight or carrier disruptions, labor shortages, customs processing, severe weather, natural disasters, or other circumstances outside of BAVCO's reasonable control. In the event of a significant delay, BAVCO will make reasonable efforts to notify the customer via email or phone with an updated estimated ship date or delivery timeframe.

Customers affected by delayed availability may choose to wait for the item to become available, request a substitution for a comparable in-stock product where applicable, or cancel the delayed item for a refund or account credit, subject to manufacturer and order restrictions.

WHAT ARE OTHER SHIPPING FACTORS?

Delivery Signature & Acknowledgement
Certain orders, including high value shipments, large quantity orders, and designated freight deliveries, may require a signature or written acknowledgement upon delivery. For LTL freight shipments, any visible damage, shortage, or discrepancy must be noted directly on the bill of lading or delivery receipt prior to signing. Signing a delivery receipt without notation of damage or shortage may significantly limit or void the ability to file a freight claim.

Damaged or Defective Shipments
BAVCO takes care in packaging and coordinating shipments to ensure products arrive in good condition. Any damage, shortage, or discrepancy must be reported to BAVCO within 1 business day of delivery. To initiate a damage claim, customers must retain all original packaging materials, packing slips, and damaged product, and provide photographic documentation of the damage prior to moving, using, or disposing of any affected items.

Undeliverable & Returned Shipments
If a shipment is returned to BAVCO due to an incorrect or incomplete delivery address provided at the time of order, failed delivery attempts, refusal at delivery, or inability to meet delivery requirements, the customer will be responsible for all associated return freight costs, carrier fees, and any applicable restocking fees.

Address Changes & Carrier Corrections
Address changes may be requested after an order has been placed but prior to shipment by contacting BAVCO directly. BAVCO will make reasonable efforts to accommodate address change requests; however, changes cannot be guaranteed once an order has entered the fulfillment or shipping process.

Order Cancellations After Shipment
Orders that have been fully or partially shipped cannot be cancelled. Once a shipment has been tendered to a carrier, the order is considered fulfilled and any returns must be processed in accordance with BAVCO's Return Policy.
